Mission
CEO & Founder Shelae Bryant is on a mission to delve deep into the realms of genealogy and epigenetics. Uncovering the intricate linkages between our environment and genetic makeup, this research has the potential to revolutionize how minorities and indigenous populations are treated in our healthcare system.
Purpose
The purpose of this organization is to explore the relationship between the healthcare system and minorities at a scientific level so that we can bridge the gap and improve their care. Minority populations in the United States experience significant health disparities when compared to the majority population. While the source of these disparities are multifactorial, several studies have shown that social determinants of health play a significant role.
Organizational Goals
Our goal is to provide the medical community with scientific and educational studies on the genealogy of diverse populations. We strive to make our research accessible to all medical professionals, so that they can use our data to make informed decisions about their patients. We also aim to develop a better understanding of the genetic makeup of different populations, which can provide insights into healthcare practices and outcomes.
Why we care?
The research we are conducting is significant to the minority population because despite recent advances in the US healthcare system, minority groups such as African Americans, Hispanics, and Asians still face significant disparities in health outcomes when compared to the rest of the population. A variety of factors contribute to these disparities. Some of these include language barriers, lack of insurance, and cultural beliefs. Others are more systemic, such as racism and discrimination.
Our Values
We strive to meet the highest standard of quality in everything we do. We can ensure our patients and partners that every research study conducted by Resolution Research is centered around scientific data and core values that will be used in the advancement of medicine and overall patient care.
